Omdahl, the architect AI responsible for first teaching Fate-Breakers skills in carpentry since launch, has announced his retirement. As part of the script for a legendary AI’s withdrawal from the world, Omdahl has additionally made arrangements for a competition through which to select his successor — player or AI. This is standard practice. What isn’t, however, is that Omdahl has also made known his intent to gift all participants with his final invention, a new saw tool that significantly reduces the difficulty of woodworking actions — enough to break the monopoly of the World Tree Organisation who have, to now, profiteered on the relative difficulty of the craft and high market returns. The WTO, in response, have placed hired the Angra Mainyu PVP guild to prevent participation, and the speculation on the market is causing great turmoil and excitement.
